Preceptorship programs are clinical programs in which chiropractic interns participate under direct supervision of an Ohio licensed chiropractic physician who has been approved by an approved chiropractic educational institution and the Board to serve as a preceptor. The following colleges are approved by the Board to offer preceptorship programs: Palmer, Texas, Logan, SCUHS, UWS, Northwestern, Life, Cleveland and NYCC.
Interns may only participate in a preceptorship program within the dates approved by the chiropractic college and the Board. All preceptorships terminate upon the intern’s graduation.
